There's something magical about summertime celebrations!
Maybe it's the longer days, the smell of sunscreen and salty air, or the way children seem to spend the season chasing adventure. I tend to think it's also the crisp linens, bright whites and blues, the patriotism that is almost palpable, the way special events seem to last longer than any other time of the year. Whatever it is, summer gatherings always feel a little more relaxed and a little more memorable.
When I designed our Nautical collection, I kept coming back to those classic coastal details that never go out of style: sailboats, deep navy blue, seersucker stripes, and gatherings around a table filled with family and friends.
Whether you're planning a first birthday, a baby shower, or a summer celebration by the water, I believe the most memorable parties aren't necessarily the most elaborate. They're the ones filled with thoughtful details that make guests feel welcomed and celebrated.
For this tablescape, I paired our Ahoy it's a Boy napkins with navy dinnerware (upscale disposable via Amazon!), blue and white seersucker linens, hydrangea and timeless nautical accents. The result feels polished but approachable and elevated enough for a special occasion while still capturing the carefree spirit of summer.
As a small business owner, one of my favorite things is imagining the celebrations these designs become a part of. Every personalized napkin represents a family gathering, a milestone, or a memory in the making. I will never get over how our items are used around the world, on tables set for every occasion under the sun, and that they're a special part of memories people keep for a lifetime!
