The Night Before "I Do"

The Night Before "I Do"

One of the things that never gets old is seeing where our products end up.

Every time an order leaves our office, I know it's headed somewhere special- a birthday party, a baby shower, a graduation celebration, and everything in between. But there is something particularly meaningful about rehearsal dinners and weddings.

The night before a wedding is unlike any other gathering. The planning is done. The guests have arrived. Family and friends from different seasons of life are all together in one place. There is excitement, anticipation, gratitude, and often a few happy tears mixed in along the way.

It always feels like such an honor knowing that our napkins are part of those moments.

Recently, I received this beautiful photo from a customer from their "The Hunt is Over" themed rehearsal dinner. The theme was perfect for the couple- a thoughtful nod to the groom's love of hunting and the beginning of their next chapter together. Seeing our napkins incorporated into a table with meaningful details reminded me why I love what I do.

What makes me smile even more is how much wedding celebrations have evolved over the years.

When my husband and I got married 16 years ago, Pinterest was still in its infancy. It existed, but it certainly wasn't the endless source of inspiration it is today. There weren't hundreds of color palettes, personalized details, tablescape ideas, and themes for all of life's occasions. Our rehearsal dinner was lovely, much simpler than what is out there these days because couples have so many opportunities to make their celebrations uniquely their own.

I love browsing Pinterest and seeing our own products that people have pinned to their boards! It never gets old!

Long after the flowers have faded and the tables have been cleared, the memories remain. Knowing that something I created was present during such a meaningful occasion is one of the greatest privileges of this business.

Here's to rehearsal dinners, wedding weekends, and all the beautiful details that make life's biggest celebrations unforgettable.
